On May 22nd, we met in Innsbruck/Austria for our 6th µBone Retreat.
Since the European Calcified Tissue Society 2025 Annual Meeting took place in Innsbruck from May 23rd to 26th, we used the chance to interact with international experts and combined it with our sixth µBone retreat and a joint symposium with CABS.
This year’s retreat was highly interesting as our PhD students, PostDocs, or PI’s presented their newest results, many of which have been gained through collaborations within the µBone consortium. The talks were followed by insightful discussions and created more ideas for collaboration. The day concluded with a Dinner, which was again accompanied by lively discussions.

Furthermore, we were very pleased that our “µBone/CABS Open Forum on Cancer & Bone – From Novel Mechanisms Towards Targeted Therapies”, which we (µBone) organized together with the Cancer & Bone Society (CABS), drew a large audience. It took place at the ECTS Pre Day, May 23rd, and stimulated a high-quality Q & A session.

We would like to thank to all our speakers and chairs for their great talks and contributions with insightful questions and helpful hints, and in particular Cyrille Confavreux as the CABS representative.
