The video clip will illustrate how thin sections of murine long bones are prepared for confocal microscopy. After cryostat sectioning of fixed bones, the tissue sections are transferred to glass slides and stained with antibodies using a so-called Shandon chamber. Finally, exemplary pictures are taken using a confocal microscope LSM-780 and the ZEN Black software (both from Zeiss).
